How far can I travel?

Typically the X-byke will cover 10-15 miles on a single charge - further if you’re pedalling too of course! Alternatively a second battery can be fitted to double the range.

Who is it designed for?

Everyone! X-byke is legally a bicycle and as long as you are over 14 years old you can ride it on the road without a driving licence, tax or insurance. In addition to the individual commuter, fleet operators can also reap benefits from using X-byke.

Is it easy to service?

The bike shares common electrical components including batteries, control systems and motor drives, making them easy to service. The ‘bicycle’ parts are common to conventional bikes making spares and servicing easy to accomplish.

Where is it made?

X-byke design is truly an international affair with the all important ergonomics designed in the UK, the battery cells manufactured in Japan and assembled in Germany and the high output electric motor designed in California.

Where can I buy one?

From all good bicycle stores and other specially selected retailers. Dealer information can be found on our website.

Is there a warranty?

X-byke comes with a comprehensive warranty on all parts including a 5 year warranty on the frame and 1 year on the Li-Ion battery, motor drive and the electrics. As you would expect, the obvious parts subject to wear and tear such as tyres and brake blocks are not covered.

We also offer an extended warranty to give total cover for three years from the day you buy the X-byke at a small additional cost of just £99.00 - please ask for details.
