Powabyke Ltd, has supported the WI’s national Raffle for a number of years, giving members and supporters the chance of winning an electric vehicle from Powabyke’s bike, scooter and golf buggy range.

The raffle raised over £89,000 for the charity to help fund its national aims and objectives. The lucky winner of the Powabyke 6-Speed Euro model was Mrs Jill Reed from Suffolk, who was awarded the prize by Andy Coe of Mail Order Cycles from Ipswich who form part of Powabyke’s national dealer network.

Jill Reed said, “I couldn't believe it when I heard that I had won an electric bike.  I have been a member of the WI for over 40 years and have never won anything like this before. I am over the moon as the electric assistance will be ideal for cycling to local village shops and it will get a lot of good use.”

Andy Coe owner of Mail Order Cycles said, “We are really pleased to award this prize to Mrs Reed on behalf of Powabyke.  The NFWI had a great response to their annual raffle raising vital funds and we hope that Mrs Reed gets a great deal of enjoyment from her bike.”
